The conditions for orienteering that particular evening were horrendous :) Thick falling snow obscuring everything and making it tough to see more than a meter or so before the flakes in the headlamp beam became too much of an issue.

My Garmin ran out of juice early on, otherwise you'd see my dot never actually find 4.

For me it was a fun outing but it wasn't really orienteering :)

That sounds brutal - and it's not like Lunsen at night is a cake-walk to begin with! I'd love to have had live GPS tracking for some of my own sad night excursions out there.

This does make for excellent spectating, however! :)
