An update: jean of France has the lead time in the middle distance after we have had a lot of strong runners in the early start block so far.

Is his time good enough to get gold?

If Martin Sundlof can beat his hamstring injury, he'll surely be favourite for this.

Does anyone know if Catching Features can run in VMWare on a Mac?

I haven't tried either, but I have heard others talking about using virtual machines on their macs, so I'm pretty sure it does work.

CF is running perfectly fine on "Parallels Desktop 8" for Mac (nowadays you get version 10), so I guess it should work on other virtual machines, too.

In Linux, it also runs quite nicely with Wine, no virtual machine needed. That should also be the case for MacOS but apparently you'd have to build Wine yourself as no binary packages are available for that platform.
