| Ran from King Edward Park while Josh and Alex did their stuff. Great on the way out - tailwind and downhill. Returning was a different story. Really enjoyed it. | ||

| Just went for a run while kids were training. Didn't have a watch, but thought I'd just go for about 30 mins; out for about 15 and then back. Looked at the clock as I left, and returned after 31 minutes - pretty good estimating eh? Didn't enjoy the busy roads. | ||

| Not sure about my time or the others on the course. Looking at the results, one person did the first 1km leg in 13secs. Wow. My splits were certainly different to this but ah well. Had a pretty bad run anyway. Really wanted to run faster because of the open terrain, but that meant I didn't keep as good map contact. Didn't realise it was 1:15000 scale and was pulling up so short for everything. Dumb! Lost a lot of time at no.4, went back to the track 4 times and back in the right direction, and each time I just stopped short of the control. So disappointed. Loved the bush, and the NSW kids looked SO good in their new gear. | ||
