Lunch time came and my levels of cbf were even higher than yesterday after another night of poor sleep. But then it dawned on me that I would feel better after a run and that seemed to be all the inspiration I needed. Ran past RobWs onto lake edge and did the two bridges. Wanted to come back through past Civic pool and did but only after major detour round construction of Floriade. Felt good in the legs but sleepy in the mind. Also either I'm about to get really sick or my HR monitor is on the blink and needs a good clean. I suspect the latter.

Bought my gear in to run at lunch time and in the morning with the sunshine i was really looking fwd to it. By lunchtime the weather wasnt as good and I'd had a real attack of the cbf's so I went to the Canberra Centre and ate a large box of chips instead. inspirational stuff from me.

A couple of sleepless nights at our household meant that we'd both had it a bit so I took the morning off and took A&Z for a run. I felt crap really but it was great to be out in the warming sun. Again tried to do the Weetang blob and this time ended up running through the back paths of Macquarie to Jammo. Coffee & dotty cookie at Coffee Guru while A&Z kept sleeping. Nice.

Commuting. Bizarre on the way home. Decided I was buggered enough (see sleep record) to go soft way home via Bruce Ridge on bike path. Also I often tell myself I should go that way b/c its safer but rarely do. Anyway karma struck b/c first I cross paths with JLA also riding home, then Miss Jones who was on a run and finally the "other" twin couple of Aranda (approx. 8 weeks younger than A&Z) walking their boys.

Long run a Majura. Hoggster took charge and proceeded to lead for the most unusual route choice he could find. This included single tracks round the back of the burbs of Ainslie, another thin one half way up Ainslie and a loop round Campbell Park. Nice day for a run although I felt a bit hordinary with sore hips and achilles, presumably from twin pram run yesterday. Went to Sfoglia for Olympic marathon tv except bloody channel 7 was showing highlights from last nights games. Nice coffee and raisin toast. Think I'll try to stick to raisin toast at sfoglia. Its good.

Oh actually the other notable event of the run was me picking up Mace & Andy and we still got there at 7.51, i.e. early. Most Cockies in shock when they arrived.
