ran better than I had expected/feared, started 2.5mins after Jamie Rennie's son, Charlie, who I'd heard was quick, took 4km to catch him, ran with him for the rest of the course, which kept the pace up

2nd, 6.5mins behind Rich Robinson

got a run in before the shoot, went straight up the hill onto Brean Down, pottered about a bit at the fort, bit harder along the beach, had to push to get below 5minute kms though

the Fabrick, Redcar Hillside, Alton
same route as March 30th, which is not as much of a slog as the usual northern loop out of Ashover, kept it going up nicely the hil, lungs were burning a bit (or something), fairly steady from there
