Trial Mixed Spring Relay, Vets, Leg 1
good craic, good courses, started fast but felt a bit weak after a few mins

running tempo 44:59 [4] 9.07 km (4:58 / km) +140m 4:36 / km
shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 190

Stanton Spirals
didn't fancy intervals so went for tempo on Stanton Moor, thought it wasn't going to work out as I laboured up the first climb, but soon got under 5mins p/km

running 1:12:09 [3] 13.39 km (5:23 / km) +250m 4:56 / km
shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212

the Edges Loop (long)
steady, but not easy, there have been times when I felt the gates were an obstacle slowing me down, but today I was grateful for a breather, got back a ten minutes before the rain

running 21:49 [2] 3.46 km (6:18 / km) +95m 5:33 / km
shoes: Inov8 mudclaw 300

Shining Cliff
loop to Haytop Hill (in the north) before intervals

running intervals 12:00 [5] 1.12 km (10:43 / km) +140m 6:36 / km
shoes: Inov8 mudclaw 300

terrain hill intervals: 6 x 100m with 20m climb; each one took about 45secs, but resting time increased from 75 to 90 - I was working hard, need to do more of these

(curiously, the Garmin recorded less than 8m climb while the contours, generated from LIDAR had it at over 20m)
