with Chris Millard starting 13secs behind me it was always going to be a bit of a burn, he got ahead of me three times only to miss in the circle, then pulled away for good after 20mins

needed the glasses today, but wasn't wearning them

steady one over the standard loop, and yet one of my quickest, almost as fast as yesterday, I guess that's the difference in surfaces, rocky paths and trods versus mostly tarmac, gorgeous hazy evening

needed to do over 10km to make it 200km for the month, but had to get the car back before 6.30 = tempo run (target 5mins p/km), very enjoyable, perfect weather

Middleton, Via Gellia, Grangemill. Harboro Rocks
nice, easy run, nettles on the path down the side of Via Gellia, mud on the other side, great sunset, felt comfortable
