trying out the 10-20-30 interval routine: this comprises five consecutive sets of easy (30), steady/brisk (20), hard (10) running, followed by 2mins rest (easy jog), and another set of five
ouldn't count the seconds accurately in my head so had to keep glancing at my watch, this means the timings are rough, also had to turn around during some of the sets to stay on a good surface, this slowed them down a little, I will take a bit of practice and concentration to set the changes in pace smooth and instant, the sprint, for example, came with a delay like a turbo charge, need to get under 3mins p/km as fastest pace
oh, and I appear to have done six sets in the first half
