BAOC Event, Hednesford Camp, Brown
course length 7.9km
good course, nice little area, bracken and bramble manageable, touchless Emit worked well, although I was still cautious, ran straight past the first control of the butterfly section, an easy one visible from the path, so no result, but then it is/was training

#1 the little copse had been mown so it formed several clumps, hunted around several of them [40]
#7 chose to go high but flag would've been more visible from below (the re-entrant was really two re-entrants) [10]
#9 careful [10]
#10 again erred on the highside, slightly too much [10]
#11 semi-open confusing [10]
#15 erred on left side of ridge, but looked early [20]
#18 semi-open confusing, map suggests embankment was on the edge, but it was in the open [10]
#23 more lumps and bumps than show on the map [30]
#24 pit lower down slope than expected [10]

took a base plate with me as I may have to use one in Tasmania next year, didn't like it
