Armargh men's open 3k
Set my self a realistic target of 9:30 before the race and just got it I think so pretty happy with that considering the amount of running training I've done. Proper brutal race and over before I knew it, very elbows out for the first k. Think pacing was pretty shabby and could of saved more time if I ran the splits more evenly but was good fun apart from nearly shitting myself at the end of the race. Seeing this as the first stepping stone for the comeback. Next week will be upping volume a little bit more again and stepping away from the beers, which there have been plenty of in the last 5 days...
