Run 36:59 [3] 5.0 km (7:24 / km)

Slow jog at street O training along the Mullum Mullum creek, trying to remember what running feels like. It was so nice to be amongst the gums in the dappled sunlight again. I have jetlag and the body still thinks it's nearly midnight. Good chat afterwards to Alan and Pat Miller, who have done all the long distance ski races in past years - I am so impressed!

Orienteering 19:00 [3] 2.3 km (8:16 / km)

ToDay sprint event at Castlemaine secondary college - a small area but complex with traps for the unwary (i.e. me). I haven't orienteered for ages and having to think while running was a shock. I mispunched on the second control and it was all over. I realised my mistake when l returned to the same control for #11 and then took it easy. My legs didn't want to run at all. Great event.
