Stone cross to lug leg 2

Very very boggy. Lovely mist down.
Was a bit tricky with the mist so a bit hesitant on descents. Made one mistake coming over to Duff hill, lost direction coming off Gravale, ended up a bit right and had to climb more and through some steeper rougher stuff, toughest climb of the day. Probably cost a few mins but was a straighter line so not heaps.
Other than that just didn’t know enough about a path from Mullaghcleevaun to Tonelagee which could have helped.

Running well enough but sinking in the bogs a bit at times. Plenty of room for improvement. What a tough leg but thoroughly enjoyable.

Lads both went well and cruised In in 5:27. Not much competition so a big win.
Best time since cnoc’s 5:10 in 2010, so that’s the next aim, but hard to see 4:32 ever being a Thing. What a time.
And aonghus’ 88mins on this is simply outrageous.
