2" of new snow went a long way on the trails. Maybe it was more like 4" up top. The fact no attempt to set classic tracks was made also suggests a higher snow amount, though who knows what the groomer is thinking form day to day. It felt a little crisper while skiing and especially while running than it did down in town.

By the time I finished up--well after dark--and made it back down to the valley, thick ice fog had developed. Street lights looked like fireflies, and lights from houses were so dim it looked like the houses were miles away, instead of just 60' from the street. It was very, very dark everywhere--ideal conditions for members of the Edgar Winters Group (if any are left.)
