Shockingly, it was another totally gray day. I made an attempt to do some riding in shorts (with a warm jacket though--no point in absurdity), but really it was a little too chilly for comfort, and I cut it short and headed out to run earlier than planned instead.
While running, I could see some blue sky both far to the north and south, but straight overhead was a nice swath of dark cloud, which occasionally lightened up the run with some grapple. At one point I amused myself by thinking of words that rhyme with grapple, and ended up thinking about scrapple. Even realizing that people's tastes will vary, and that in desperate circumstances people will do desperate things, you have to draw the line somewhere, and the line I draw for myself comes nowhere close to scrapple. Sorry, scrapple lovers!
Still wondering when the sun will renew. Maybe tomorrow, even if they say Tomorrow Never Knows.
