Chase Park Run
Set off a little quick and then after the first km slowed down lots. I finally broke the 26 minute barrier for myself yay! Next aim under 25... Hopefully?
I'm getting so lazy haha
Physio today was really positive! Just need to try to become a little lighter on my feet as I run. Did not realise how stompy I was.

Note
Just feeling a little drained :(
To be honest, GCSEs are taking over (as they should) and certainly this week I just haven't had the will power to run as well as revise. For the first few weeks running was a nice break but now I just always seem to be tired and unmotivated.
JK has kinda pushed my motivation down too as although I had a pretty clean race on the long, being 17 mins down purely from running speed is pretty soul destroying considering how much work I've put in over the past few months. I guess it's just a reality check of how much harder I need to push.
Until exams are over I'm going to use running as a distraction method to keep me sane and not stressed. I guess that means there will be no structure at all... I just don't want to lose any sort of fitness I have at the moment.
Fingers crossed the revision will pay off
Very chuffed with the overall JK result! 13th overall and 10th Brit. Massive improvement from last year! Deffinaely promising for when I don't have a dodgy ankle. Very happy girly :)

Note (rest day)
I think commentating counted as an elite sport today! No computers or radio control connections so it was all through numbers and note pads.
Ankle was still sore last night so I decided to give today a miss. Probably a good idea to give it a rest for a few more days now to get it back to normal

JK Long. - joint 14th - 4 foreigners ahead of me - and 17:02 minutes down Much happier with this!! Minimal mistakes (less than 2 minutes?). The rest of the time gap was down to strength and speed. Never run more than a 5km course so happy to be able to get round.
