Les Terasses de Genève

Orienteering, just me, no flags, no compass.

In some places there was no sense to the terrain. Boulders weren't nicely deposited by glaciers, they were chunks of cliff that had broken off Saleve. This made the orienteering tricky at times. The mappers didn't have a proper base, apparently, I'm not sure how well they did the complicated patch. Anyway, definitely worth a visit if in the area.

Couple of mistakes, lots of slowness. I need to learn to orienteer again. So I should probably do some training or something. And sleep better. On the plus side, maths is progressing.

My right foot is still being sore, not sure what will cure it.

Cycling there took a while, 13km with 200m of climb on a not properly adjusted city bike. Back was much much faster.

Intentions of running in the morning, instead I slept in, then went for an afternoon jog before learning to make creme patissiere.
