We travelled light. I had a one litre bag of water, two thermal tops, change of socks, pyjama bottoms (evening wear!), snacks (more than necessary), suncream (necessary!), toothbrush/paste, money, telephone, space blanket. Not much beyond that. Wore shorts and mesh o-top while moving.
Distance is probably over-estimated by three or four km by the website people, if their gps isn't accurate.
Starting and ending in Champéry, maybe 50-100m more climb than us, it was done in 6h10 in 2013. Not sure what the record is.
