Running 2:40:22 [2] 15.22 km (10:32 / km) +877m 8:11 / km

Packed a heavy rucksack (with tent, sleeping bag, stove etc etc) and took the poles to do some practice. Enjoyed it going uphill, but on the tops it was a horrible icy-blowy-but-also-slippy snow and really rocky, and 45mph wind.
And because twisted ankle yesterday didn't want to go full force over slippy rocks with a heavy pack AS WELL, because would not have been a good place to hang around in pain.
Just a faff of a run, didn't really run at all apart from the nice smooth path in the valley, so wasn't much fun, but at least I got out.

Felt soooooooooooooo tired when I woke up this morning. And sore throat, and everything just an effort. Not feeling it at all, and felt way harder than it should of done despite slow time.

Running long 2:38:04 [3] 24.08 km (6:34 / km) +624m 5:49 / km

Run home from Keswick. Was going to go over the tops but was all misty and meant to be quite windy up there. Wish I had kind of though, as at least there would have been some 'real weather' and proper snow as opposed to blustery rain drops. But was v tired so might have broken me.
Twisted ankle :( hurt loads when I did it but had gone after a minute of swearing and carried on fine.

Pre-breakfast run just to stretch the legs. Wiggling around all over the spot to try and make it longer which was a bit of a pain but good to get out.

Run there and run back.

Running hills (Helm Hill) 25:29 [5] 5.68 km (4:29 / km) +166m 3:55 / km

8 x up hill round tree and back down. Each rep about 0.71km, 20m climb, about 3mins5-15s.

Oh my goodness. Went in next fastest group than I've been in before. First rep was totally fine, was in the front pack. The rest I just DIED! I just felt awful - even though my heart rate recovered really well between sets, I just felt soo awful by halfway up the hill...
And had that horrible acidic feeling in my throat by the end. But good session, glad it's over ha.

Estimating 'work' time - went to gym to do some actual weights! Really good, will definitely go again, probably instead of Insanity. Fun, but forgot how hard weights can be! It's just a few seconds at a time but ooft.

Then ran to work. Good day -tired.
