Running race (YHA King of the Castle ) 15:07 [5] 2.13 km (7:06 / km) +154m 5:13 / km

SO much fun! But HARD!

Uphill race, and a time trial so set off about 10/20s apart so we didn't get bunched up on the narrow path. Start with hand on the bar in the youth hostel, run about 1-1.5km flat, about 6mins, then straight up the hill! Hard work... finish by touching the memorial at the top! Great race. 3rd lady and first U23, so won two pairs of socks :D FUN!

Running warm up/down 20:00 [3] 3.0 km (6:40 / km)

5mins jog to try and warm up (we were late), 15mins jog down after!

Running 52:24 [3] 9.2 km (5:42 / km) +115m 5:22 / km

Run around the Lake. Needed to get out and RUN, properly, without a pack and actually 100% running! So fun :) Ran round to the pinnacle that sticks out into the lake, and it was dead calm and mist going off into the hills, absolutely beautiful. Sat there for ages and then ran back.

Running long 4:15:00 [3] 23.07 km (11:03 / km) +1480m 8:22 / km

Garmin messed up a bit so not sure exactly on moving time - and Dad's watch says 23k so going with that!

Good long run in the run, with heavier rucksack this time and testing out poles for some of it (good!). Up over Scarth Gap from Buttermere, down into the valley and along the nice path on the other side, then up Steeple, Scoat Fell, Black Crag and Pillar - then down to Blacksail again and back over Scarth Gap. Seemed to take much longer than expected, maybe because of the rucksack? Also windy on top and VERY very cold up there so a bit of faffing with layers etc. But fun! :)

Yoga (Ashtanga) 1:15:00 [1]

Yoga class - quite hard! But really helpful and interesting, felt I learnt a lot :) Fun :)

swimming (Open Water) 18:00 [2] 0.7 km (25:43 / km)

SWIM! Flat calm, absolutely beautiful. Decided to just set off and do 200 strokes and see how I felt, and ended up going to the boathouse and back! Once my face had gone numb it was easy to swim properly, powering along to try and keep warm! Idillic - however feet went very strange and blotcy and dark purple when I got in the shower once back... lovely.
5 PM

Yoga 40:00 [1]

Yoga video - found a really good channel on Youtube! Fun.
