Strength and Conditioning 15:00 [3]

3 PM

swimming (Open Water) 30:00 [3] 1.7 km (17:39 / km)

Went with a group of the tri club up to the loch above St Mary's - started off doing the triangle but backwards, then went back on ourselves after the 2nd part to add a bit on. Really good, suprisingly not too cold! Then to the pub, fun fun fun :)

Running 59:31 [3] 11.21 km (5:19 / km) +152m 4:58 / km

Felt really strong and running well - was really in the mood to do a mega long run but decided to do a shorter flatter one at a bit of a faster pace. Better idea considering the running at Mountain Hut, as think I'm in danger of turning into a 'shuffler'!
Felt good, but knees at the end felt a bit achey, and feet also afterwards... really need to not over-do the running, but really hard when it's nice weather and I have ENERGY!

Big big stretching sesh tomorrow I think, and some S&C, and a swim

Running 22:23 [3] 4.0 km (5:36 / km) +96m 5:00 / km

Nice easy peasy quick run - felt good! Not sure what to do this weekend - nice weather, but need to rest the legs, but also feel quite good, and don't have my bike yet.... hard to know what to do!

Cycling 1:09:29 [3] 17.34 mi (4:00 / mi) +274m 3:49 / mi

Cycled from home to Threlkeld - really really enjoyed it, so nice to cycle again on some easy roads, and not the Struggle! Also not a breath of wind which made it so nice, and some really super smooth new roads. Spin spin easy easy.

Stretching 30:00 [3]

Stretching in the sun - suprisingly not too stiff now - maybe the jump into the river helped me loosen off this morning!

Running (Mountain Hut (Doss)) 3:21:43 [3] 27.57 km (7:19 / km) +562m 6:38 / km

Run to the Coast!
Ran with Bill and Dave to start. Bill was quite a lot slower so had a nice leisuerly start which was probably a good thing as it saved our energy. Then once we were on the right path over Harter Fell we ran on ahead to Eskdale Green. Met the others for juice and a snack then onwards over Muscaster Fell and down, to the Brown Cow in Waberthwaite.
Really good, a only seized up on the last flat bit - felt ok otherwise. Really fun to actually run to somewhere, instead of a loop! And fun evening. Legs very tired.

Running (Mountain Hut (Doss)) 32:46 [3] 5.55 km (5:54 / km) +37m 5:43 / km

Breakfast run - feet/ankles/calves felt a bit seized up when I set off and was wondering if I should have a day off the main run - but felt so much better after the first part! Nice morning :)
11 AM

Running (Mountain Hut (Doss)) 1:55:46 [3] 14.99 km (7:43 / km) +562m 6:30 / km

Ran from Elterwater, up to Stickle Tarn then cut across to Castle How, Lang How and down.
Really really enjoyed the run today - less boggy and the kind of paths/running I'm used to in the Lakes. Was slow on the up compared to everyone else but felt strong on the rough ground on the top - really really fun running, even though we lost the path (my fault, but I still knew where we were). Fun fun fun :)
