Running long 3:35:00 [3] 19.5 km (11:02 / km) +900m 8:58 / km

Ran from home, over Setmurthy, down to the bridge by Bassenthwaite Lake, along the Allerdale Ramble (I found out is probably the WORST and most boring 'ramble' you could ever do) around the side of the lake and to the bottom of Ullock.
At this point realised I had chosen a rubbish route to run, as the flat boring part took forever as it was so wet and had so many gates and was difficult to follow. So the next part, which was the point of the run, had to be cut short.
The origonal plan as to run up the Ullock ridge, up to Skiddaw and down to Latrigg to meet Dad. But only had 1.5hrs left so just had to do the ridge then run down to Applethwaite and borrow a lovely ladies phone to call Dad and tell him where I was!
The ridge was so nice though, I just wish I'd had more time. The view was amazing as the sun was going down and the sky had cleared up a bit - so nice! Hills have nothing on real mountains, I wish they had them in Leeds.
Legs feel a bit tired now, and knees were v. achy on my way down, but feel much more energetic now than I though, so that's good. :)

Cycling 1:00:00 [3]

Trying out the new bike - cycled to Barry's to go through the Ennerdale route, and back. Felt soooo wobbly, not used to road bikes at all!
Need to practise more.

Cycling warm up/down 15:00 [2]

Circuits (Plyometrics) 1:00 [3]

Jumps over some 'steps': forwards, sideways, longer jumps - working the calves and achilles area.

Circuits 35:37 [4]

Circuit focusing on endurance - tough!
10 runs up/down the sports hall, 30 star jumps, 10 runs, 30 wall jumps, 10 runs, 30 press ups, 10 runs, 30 burpees - all exercises holding light weights (so working the wrists for press ups etc as well).
Repeated the circuit 4 times without stopping - good session!

Circuits (Plyometrics) 17:00 [3]

Jumps onto blocks.
Started with a stack of 5 stands with the 'step' on top - 50 jumps up and down each.
Then added one, 40 each, added another 30 each, added another, 20 each.

SO EXCITED!

Cycling 50:00 [3]

Cycled on Mum's bike to (almost) Keswick to meet Dad to go to Keswick Mountain Bikes.
Absolutely poured it down, soaked and very cold, and the A66 was grim with lots of inconsiderate lorries, but somehow really enjoyed it :D
Can't wait to get my own bike!
