Running long 3:35:00 [3] 19.5 km (11:02 / km) +900m 8:58 / km

Ran from home, over Setmurthy, down to the bridge by Bassenthwaite Lake, along the Allerdale Ramble (I found out is probably the WORST and most boring 'ramble' you could ever do) around the side of the lake and to the bottom of Ullock.
At this point realised I had chosen a rubbish route to run, as the flat boring part took forever as it was so wet and had so many gates and was difficult to follow. So the next part, which was the point of the run, had to be cut short.
The origonal plan as to run up the Ullock ridge, up to Skiddaw and down to Latrigg to meet Dad. But only had 1.5hrs left so just had to do the ridge then run down to Applethwaite and borrow a lovely ladies phone to call Dad and tell him where I was!
The ridge was so nice though, I just wish I'd had more time. The view was amazing as the sun was going down and the sky had cleared up a bit - so nice! Hills have nothing on real mountains, I wish they had them in Leeds.
Legs feel a bit tired now, and knees were v. achy on my way down, but feel much more energetic now than I though, so that's good. :)
