canoe/kayak 2:00:00 [1]

Full day of canoeing in Lac La Peche. Often wondered why there are no maps of this part of the Gats, suppose not enough trails? Woods probably range from super open with pines to mega fight.

But regardless, Lac La Peche is amazing to paddle, especially on a day like this. You could probably do a mid-week camping trip and still make it in to work the next day.

Does Bob McGill (former Queens runner) live in Dundas?

Orienteering Race 1:05:00 [2]

Wicked run with Freddy, running The Loop. If anyone knows of someone looking to rent a beautiful house in Old Chelsea, let me know.

These are really interesting and looks like they were close to North American Champs:

Amazed this wouldn't be updated for the hipsters of NYC.

Orienteering Training 36:00 [1]

Picking up flags in the dark. Had about the max number I could carry. Getting chilly!

Orienteering Race 1:00:00 [3]

Great night of training. Paul from OOC and NFL put on an hour Score event for the Natural Fitness Lab group I usually run with. Free event with chip timing. Really good Score course by Paul of the Gatineau Mines map, although man that map needs updating and redrawing more than anything.

Mostly course 1-2 controls, which was the right level. Lots of climb and trail running. Great temperature. I think about 60 runners out.
