Running warm up/down 30:00 [1]

Warm-up and cool down from P5. Lots of skiers out, I think it was Chelsea Nordic, coached by big Orienteering fan Mo Samm.

Running intervals 25:00 [5]

Wow, such a fun workout from Dave and Lise! The Tues Night Trail Runs now and then do workouts that are perfect for Orienteers. This was one of them.

After the warm-up we arrive at the Penguin Picnic area and find that Dave has taped up a narrow, super twisty course around tight corners by using yellow-police tape. Could pretty much be created anywhere, I guess closest thing would be a cyclo-cross course.

Then pick a random partner (I ran with a dude named David) and it was 8 times each in a relay. You had just enough time to cool down when your partner was back.

With the snow the corners were mega tricky, lots of grabbing of trees to swing yourself around. But, great terrain training (I'm not sure anyone has heard, but evidently it is hard to spell train without terrain or something).

Super fun, would be perfect for juniors to do. But might be too much fun for an O club.
