10 AM

swimming 32:00 [3] 1.0 km (32:00 / km)

That's one way to wash off the oil from a Killer Massage :)
1 PM

orienteering (Goolwa Dunes) 1:10:00 [3] 5.2 km (13:28 / km)
shoes: Inov8 X-Talon bluegreen

Perfect afternoon for some sand dune training on a secret map - and Liv & Lanita joined me! I really enjoyed this, especially the mental challenge (less so the getting stuck in patches of coastal wattle) which reminded me what orienteering is really all about and now I am looking forward to NZ although a bit daunted by having entered elites in order to get my money's worth.

running (Belair night) 1:05:00 [3]
shoes: Asics Kayano 23

Up Olave Hill, down the boundary fence, out the front gate & back Upper Sturt Rd with Z&C on a dark & rainy night. Trying to remember when last I would have experienced 8 degrees!

shoes: Asics Nimbus 19

Tempo-ish Nth Adl loop with the group.

7 AM

swimming 34:00 [3] 1.0 km (34:00 / km)

Getting pretty sick of bashing the lane rope with my 'flail arm', but I couldn't seem to prevent myself from drifting sideways...

10 AM

running (Blackwood Forest) 31:00 [3]
shoes: Inov8 X-Talon bluegreen

Not sure how effective this was as terrain practice because knees were very tight from riding yesterday.
11 AM

orienteering (Heathfield) 38:48 [3] 4.2 km (9:14 / km)
shoes: Asics Nimbus 19

Slow (shoe-breaking-in) plod around a nice little course which encompassed Heathfield HS and Woorabinda lake/bushland and felt a lot longer than 4.2km. Not sure if I always took the best route in the track network maze but I had passed the same lady walking her dog, 3 times already!
