I figured the waterfall in Sturt Gorge would be at its best after last night's rain, so convinced Zara (& Callum of course) to come find it with me. We parked @Eden Hills CFS and ran down Magpie Gully, losing count of the creek crossings and stopping to admire the cascades just before the junction with Sturt Creek, which was flowing nicely, but thankfully we could still get across the stepping stones ok, and were rewarded by the sight of the waterfall, lovely as always (if slightly marred by the presence of some random chairs perched on the cliff just above).
