Note

Foot update - I wore the boot for two weeks, and then stopped because it wasn't making any different to the Achilles tendinitis at the insertion point. Lump is actually larger now than it was a week ago.

This is what Pepper thinks...

Roger update - radiation sessions were actually 5, not 10, as we had misunderstood. No issues during the sessions, except very painful for him to get his right arm into position overhead and hold it there. Hard to tell if he is experiencing fatigue, because, well, Roger is always a bit fatigued.

For now, we are back into the same position as we have been in for the past year, which is when they first spotted the new growth in his lung, which a biopsy in September proved malignant...that is, wait and see. PET scan in January. Since there are no symptoms, and there is nothing we can do to alter the outcome, this is a good time to put the whole mess out of our minds.

I know I am feeling less stressed then I was a month ago when surgery was still on the table. Was strongly doubting that we could make it through another resection, especially with Roger in his 70s now. It was hard when he was in his 50s.

Previous surgeries...we had a nice break after those first 14 years.
