Rhonda's morning class, without Rhonda, who had left at 5am to go see Jess and Cooper. The yoga group and husbands were over last night and I had agreed to show up this morning, so a little yoga and pilates with Laurann, Karen and Jackie.

Last night was a going-away party for our friends Matt and Sheryl and two kids. Matt got a 3-year job near Milan, where we will visit them in December. He has been angling for a job in Italy for about 15 years, finally came through.

Thought I was going to do 5K, but my leg was not into it today. Better to spend the time in the hot tub.

Very pleased about this. I haven't been doing this walk much, and it was certainly a lot better experience than running or rowing have been lately. I was thinking maybe 1:07 would be a decent time, and my hip flexors were sore on the downhill, but the uphill was pretty good and the time was quite fine, I think.
