Note

Downhill skied (instead of snowboarding) for the first time in around 20 years.

Just like riding a bike. Still got it.

Nordic (skating) race 2:30:00 [4] 40.0 km (3:45 / km)

Ruka Hiihto 40k skate. The most low-key chilled-out mildly-poorly-organized race put on by the same club that organizes World Cups. Bizarre.

Really nice course, though. Perfect for me, tons of one-skate. Finished 4th, but was 2nd in my category, 40k in 1:51, finishing off with the monster hill that climbs into the Ruka stadium.

And I won a fish hook!

It was abruptly decided to go to Ruka for Easter weekend, so after two intense days of trying everything to allow my wrist to function properly all weekend, we went.

And it wasn't so bad.

And Ruka is ridiculous.

35 minutes at a reasonable clip, pain free.
