Skiing! Yay, skiing! Great conditions for the first ski of the year.

Unfortunately, I fell while running in Spain and took a large (and deep) chunk of skin off my palm, right in the line of my pole strap. So this was a fairly painful ski and I didn't use the strap on my right hand. Its going to need to heal before much more skiing. Bummer.

Also, classic is definitely not so good for achilles either. I noticed that almost immediately.

Run rehab project. Yes, I know, it seems weird to go right back to this. But... I still want to be careful.

35 minutes of running, 7 minutes on, 1 minute off.

It generally feels good, some light twinges. The pain is more often when NOT running than running now.

Note

Returned from 3-week trip. 10 races in 18 days.

Achilles verdict: not... healed, per se. But the pain has drifted proximally and is maybe not as noticable.

Plan is to return to the run rehab project, but with some skiing. We will see if that's better.

Was generally a very promising trip though.
