Easter Day 1

Long Bingo control for fisrt leg, put me in a ppor frame of mind when I could not see the control despite going close to the 0.7m "High Point" in the grass!

Messed up #3 big time not going far enough along the fence to an attack point and losing confidence in the rock mapping 4, 5, 6 & 7 all ok and then somehow drifted off to end up at #9 before 8, saw Nicole near 9 and managed to relocate off 9 and Ok from there but legs had run out of energy. Lost at least 25-30 minutes overall!!!

Prolouge event at Easter in Stanthorpe went quite well and ended up 13th on the Medium course

Regular 5km KP run, felt like I was stronger going uphill than recent runs and the time was reasonbable without breaking any records.

last run in KP for a months as off travelling - will be interesting to see where my time in in May

Orienteering race 29:40 [4] 4.1 km (7:14 / km) +113m 6:21 / km

As I was Controller and things seemed quite around the finish, I decide to run the Moderate course at as fast a pace as I could. Got a little off line from 1 to 2 and could not run all the way up the hill from 4 to 5, otherwise pretty much ran hard all the way.

Fun to run a course where the navigation is easy and you can concentrate on running
