Running (Trail run) 17:30 [2] 3.15 km (5:33 / km) +31m 5:18 / km

Wee jog around Kings Park, whilst the kids were doing the Park run. Way overdressed and feeling rubbish, sweating away despite only jogging, not great!

Elliptigo 56:20 intensity: (1:12 @0) + (17 @1) + (1:27 @2) + (38:38 @3) + (14:46 @4) 23.87 km (25.4 kph) +150m

Still feeling pretty flat, not sure why. TRIMP 116.2.

Have been feeling a bit rough the last couple of days and that, combined with the usual post- blood donation lassitude, made even this turgid trundle very hard work. Meh. TRIMP 71.7.

Gathering Stane variation. Wee jog out in the early afternoon sunshine to see where the knee is at. Seems OK with lots of stretching after a short effort like this, just a bit swollen, but there's definitely something going on with where the hamstring joins to the back of the knee.
Run-wise all pleasant enough, legs seemed to be well recovered, so I slung in a couple of km at 10km pace just for fun. TRIMP 77.1.

I had to drop the car off in Penicuk for 8am, so slung the bike in the back and cycled to work from the garage. OK to Edinburgh but a big of a slog west from the city, into the wind, to Livingston. Nice to visit some old haunts but cycling in a city isn't great fun - too many cars, buses and potholes! TRIMP 121.4.

Cycling (Road) 41:49 intensity: (8:04 @1) + (23:29 @2) + (7:37 @3) + (2:39 @4) 16.39 km (23.5 kph) +237m

Empty all day, not much energy for this cycle, but got up over the hill and to Linlithgow station in time for my train, which was duly cancelled. Forgot to stop my watch, until I'd racked up some minutes of swearing at Scotrail. I could have made that 45 minutes of swearing, because that's how long it took for the next train to turn up, plus 10 mins of cussing in Stirling where the train terminated early and kicked us off. Got home just in time for breakfast. TRIMP 62.9.
