Note

Etoile's birthday and Venla/Jukola watching relaxing day at the Waddtage with Atropos, Anvil and the Naess clan. Fun to watch AG! and JE lead off the US junior teams (though our internet went down briefly and just when AG! got to the first TV CP).

AG! started in the last row of races and passed over 1000 people. You can see that she is already over a minute behind the leaders trying to pass people (at 1:38 mark) https://youtu.be/IMItos1SUq8

Note

Just ran into one of McMaster's XC team members. He has been hired to be a pacer for the Guelph Inferno Track meet. If he can pace the 1500m runners through the first km in 2:25 then he gets $500. That is $12,400/hour.

....and the grant proposal that nearly killed me got funded (no chest pain since I submitted it). Here is an overview: http://dailynews.mcmaster.ca/article/mcmaster-scie...

I am actively hiring technicians, research associates, postdoctoral fellows and a PhD student. If you know anybody let me know (scientists from Trump and May lands welcome).
