running 1:00:00 [2]

When I was eating breakfast in the back yard I noticed that the sun was starting to feel hot and that I'd better get out the door if I was going to run in a comfortable temp.

I shuffled around on West Campus including 1 full Ulrik's Hill (but at a nice slow pace). Lots of people out and about - some sort of graduation-related event at the Lied Center (guessing one of the high schools) and a plant sale at Monarch Watch.

I jogged the outlines of some new parking areas. I'm working on a big map of the entire city. It'll be something between an orienteering map and an adventure race map, if I ever finish it. Lots of the detail is straight from open street map.

Edit: NOT high school graduation, they've still got some time left. It was various KU related graduation stuff.

Note

Also, I had an email waiting for me from Cristina-bot this morning.

cycling 1:00:00 [1]

Easy biking on the bike path - we went out past the Baker Wetlands Center and then returned by the same route. We took it pretty easy.

running 30:00 [2]

Summer, Silas (her husband) and I went to the river trails.

When we pulled in to the lot, we saw Deb Altus. She was running with Dad on Sunday morning. It was nice to speak with her.

Then we split up with Silas racing ahead, me in between, and Summer following.

It was a short, easy run on a warm and humid morning.

MTB cycling 40:00 [1]

Super easy MTB on the roads. I just sort of meandered around. I dropped by my Mom's house for a break. We chatted and looked at some photos. I also drank some nice cold "fuzzy" water.

Note

My Dad died last night. It was unexpected. I'm sad and numb.
