I jogged on the trails at Clinton SP (started at the beach). I didn't feel especially good and wasn't feeling especially motivated to do anything other than just shuffle along and day dream.

At one point I was jogging up a little hill and looking at the map and nearly ran into a deer. The deer was just standing on the trail looking at me. When I stopped - about 5 meters away - the deer took a couple of steps off the trail and then watched me.

No runners or MTB riders on the trails, but I saw several hikers. I think the bikers and runners might have been concerned about mud after last night's rain. In fact, the trails were fine.

My h.r. curve showed a gradual increase over the course of the run. That usually means I was tired or it was hot. It wasn't really hot (~69F), so I guess I was probably tired.
