Missed #12 :(

Otherwise a good run and semi OK navigation. Need control descriptions in a holder on my wrist. Folding and unfolding the map means far less checking as I go along.

Brad won, but Andries was within a minute, so he better do some training!

ParkRun race (Bryanston with Brodie) 32:59 [3] 5.0 km (6:36 / km) +40m 6:21 / km
slept:7.0 weight:79kg shoes: Saucony

In a fit of madness I took Brodie to Bryanston parkrun. He was very excited and interested in the people and many dogs. As he is totally untrained, my job was just to keep him away from other dogs and people especially small kids. Holding him on a short leash with all the runners just means he trips me up. So I had him on the long leash running ahead but about 5m off the path in grass. Luckily it was recently mown so we could run there quite easily. Just a bit heavy going compared to the path but good O training.

So first 4k were a struggle as he wanted to run a lot faster. By the last k he was tired so we took some walks and he stayed next to me quite well.

Just waiting to see if he or Mika were quicker!

Next will be Oliver, but the pace will be more sedate and I will probably have to carry him the last 2 k.

Running race 14:49 [4] 3.01 km (4:56 / km)

Had TomTom on 3k 15m and it was showing a very constant pace of 5:55. Bit of a wind in the home straight but happy with the run,

ParkRun race (Albert's Farm) 30:15 [4] 5.0 km (6:03 / km) +100m 5:30 / km
shoes: Inov8 X-Talons 220

Went out at a decent pace, but blew up along the flat bit over the river. Walked most of the hill as I did not want to feel sick. Feeling OK at end but just tired.

Plenty of mud, but I made all the right choices as to which side of a marshy area to run.
