Had a nice Christmas Day - at home to begin with and then off to J&C's to hang out with them and the in-laws.

Short tempo effort on the Taylor West Singletrack - being a bit of a strava w*****r to be honest. But also a good way to do something decent but not overly exerting on a hot day.

Ran from home to J&C's for dinner via Farrer, Isaacs and Red Hill. Pretty hot but just running steady so was manageable.

Yay, summer holidays! So did a longish solidish run over Farrer, Wanniassa and down to Fadden Pines. Unfortunately coming down some steps off Wanniassa I was concentrating more on listening to Wonderwall than on the slipperiness and consequently stacked it. Got a big graze on my thigh :( So a bit stingy and achy for the rest of the run. Nice and warm though and feeling quite good otherwise. Back around the back of Wanniassa, along the spine in Isaacs and through Mawson.

Longish morning run to work with a bit of a crowd: Jasen, Tomas, Brad, Sam and a couple of others later on. Tomas tried to sabotage this by giving me some Czech plum brandy to drink the night before, but fortunately its effects wore off as the run progressed.
