Warm up from Edale station up to the Nags Head and hobble back down after.

Kinder dozen. Aimed for a sub five, which seemed realistic until Crookstone, then it gradually slipped out of reach. The only schedule I was working on was to average 25 mins for each climb and descent; quite easy to achieve on the early climbs, but less so along the North edge. Struggled on the rough ground (not enough of it recently), mainly the heather and tussocky grass, particularly up Blackden and over Nether Moor. The bracken was surprisingly OK though. My main problem was that I started a little too enthusiastically and paid the price later on - the last few climbs were a real grind. Finished with a hard descent into Edale to finish quite completely paggared.
