Omgeeeerhd green. Orienteering course at Narrineryi hills set by robin. It was green and I lost of the plot in two places. This green was was weird cause you could see for 100m above the bush line but you couldn't see 1m into the bush. That was tricky for finding rocks in the green. My compass is ok but I'm not 100% confident leaving the control and then I lose the line running around bushes. I think I need to find a feature ahead and stick to that to stay on my line better.
World orienteering day scatter. 30 controls in a very small area which meant it was easy to miss one...which I did. All our controls were named after countries and missed India! I loved how Australia was girt by sea and Norway was way off in the arctic circle.
My body and I had an argument last night after late night netball. It went something like this:
Body: heeeeey, let's go running. I feel like running.
Me: no I'm going to bed
Body: but I feel great and super energetic. Let's go for a run
Me: no it's 11pm and I'm tired. We are going to bed.
Body: I'll make you not tired
Me: what?
Body: I'm gonna twitch constantly for 2 hours so you don't feel tired. And I'll only stop twitching once you go for a run.
Me: are you serious?
Body: ... Yep :)
Me: erghhh
Body: yeah! Running!
