Mosquito Creek. It took this map to get me back to orienteering after a 3 week break.
Almost error free run. Was right of the control for 1 and 4, losing 15 and 25 seconds respectively. That may be an exaggeration.
More interestingly, noticed that I was veering to the right on bearings, whether running right or left across the slope. And towards the end I noticed that the compass had stuck itself 180 degrees out of alignment. Had to shake it out. Which perhaps might explain a few things from the last event I attended. Julie and I both decided its time to buy good new compasses. Cheap ones don't seem to last. Poor workman blames etc.
