Mass start multi-loop route choice exercise at Stromlo West, although I still prefer to call it Stoney Ck. This was first time I've run there since it burnt down. Definitely not as nice as it was although less copious arachnids now if memory serves. The exercise was good and would have enjoyed running with the crowd (mostly juniors) except I'm too old to read the course order properly and did a loop out of order and did the wrong split, and then an extra control from the first loop ... pretty funny. Hip flexors getting pretty sore by the end. Probably time to admit it's an injury.

A short warm-up while the juniors talked about getting their learners' permits. Realised I've had a licence longer than they've been alive. Control pickup afterwards and the hips were getting really sore and beginning to force me to a walk.

Loop through Bruce Ridge, Gossan Hill, Aranda, Black Mt, Bruce Ridge again and home. Beautiful morning after so many grey skies recently. Tight calves a bit sore at the beginning and the right one tightened up about half way through. I'm assuming it's a back thing. Groin better but still not great.
