OO Cup day 3.
A longer course today, so I decided to race hard for the first 30-40mins and then ease off (I haven't done 4 races in a row for a while, and WOC is coming up fast!).
It worked out that the first 2/3rds were middle distance style which suited my plan perfectly. I was really happy with my nav for the most part and had much better flow/focus. The last part of the course had longer legs and more hills and I was physically tired and wasn't pushing, but also lost focus. I lost close to 5mins on the second last - sloppy approach and then really slow relocating because I was so tired, even though I was really close.
12 mins behind Lisa, 15th. But was 3rd after half an hour. Mostly happier with today - in the part I was pushing I felt more in control.
