Aus 3 days, Burngoogee.

Well, that was the best run I've had in I don't know how long :) And in a long. Must have been the taper paying off.

Mistake-free (by my standards) run, and even felt like I was running ok (given recent training). Happy to hold it together for the last loop too.

My highest placed split (apart from the run in) was the spectator leg - maybe because I was too disorganised to put something out on the table so cruised straight through? :)

Thoroughly enjoyed my day out :)

Orienteering 59:35 [3] 5.7 km (10:27 / km)

Aus 3 days, Connorton.

Lazy start to the day at a lovely cabin in Barnawartha, then cruised up the road to Connorton. I think it helped having run there before and knowing the mapping style. Didn't do too badly navigation-wise (although a bit scrappy in parts), but was a bit off the pace. Had aching feet for a bit thanks to new ankle braces.

Short street jog after leaving work too late. Legs felt slow and tired.
