Absolutely stunning day for a ride! Warm(ish) sunshine and no wind. Lots of people out, taking advantage of the vitamin D. Including a girl walking up the bike path in socks. And spitfires. There seemed to be a mass spitfire migration across the path north of the Ring Rd.
Rode down Gaffney and up the Moonee Ponds Creek to the event. Came back via Reynard St, because I wasn't convinced I'd make it up the Gaffney hill out of the valley.
Lunch stop at Westmeadows Bakery on the way home :)

I quite enjoy running at Woodlands. Must be the fact it's in my old Hume patch.
Got stuck in some bushes on the way to #1 (which was silly as the control was basically on the track). Lost a few seconds helping an elderly gentleman out of the depression #5 was in. Otherwise just plodded around at a reasonable pace.
