Orienteering 17:39 [3] 3.2 km (5:31 / km)

Yarra Valley sprint 1.

Punched all the controls. Legs felt really dead in general, and especially on the stairs (I blame cycling beforhand). A few misses and hesitations.

Missed the train I was intending to catch from Coburg, then found out when I got to the station that they go every 40 mins on a Sunday morning, not every 20 mins. Rode in to Parliament - a bit depressing riding past work on a Sunday morning. Then cruised up the Mullum Mullum Creek from Ringwood.

Orienteering 17:01 [3] 3.1 km (5:29 / km)

Yarra Valley sprint 2.

Didn't punch all the controls. Even with Neil correcting in front of me, I didn't realise what I'd done. Too busy planning ahead.

Match race with Jayne, which she won by punching all the controls. Not really reading the map quickly enough. My legs felt less dead though - maybe I wasn't even trying to run.

Went to Eastland on my way home on a quest to find a Jeans West and got angry very quickly. It's hard to even find the way in (unless you're in a car) as 3 sides are all taken up by carparks. Once you're in you have to walk around until you find an info map showing where the shops are, go back to Jeans West which was pretty much where you came in, go back to the info board to find out where the toilets are, go back to the toilets which are pretty much near Jeans West, then go out to where you parked your bike against a railing in the car park in lieu of any other option. To think some people go shopping for leisure!
