Big loop South again, this time with Matt. A lot of waffling going on, fairly unsurprising.

He wasn't a fan of the route, but at least Les Coles said it looked interesting

Jogged to Braid drive, then did a tempo like effort thing for 2.5km in one direction, turned around and ran back. Then jogged home.

FwtN #5 - Corstorphine Hill

A fun little course planned by Boyan.

Shorts could have been a mistake, but I regret nothing. Sliding all over the place in the mud and snow, and really orienteering like a bit of a knob for the first 3 controls.

The fear of Rachel catching me up helped knock some sense into me, and things went well until the final control, which I can only assume had vanished. Spent a good 5 minutes hunting for it to no avail - although I don't think anyone else found it either

A failed attempt at some intervals - took me a very long time to get out the door post work. Loop was very muddy, motivation was lacking, and I was rather hungry. Did one 8 minute rep, and was halfway through the second, but was just feeling a bit weary.

Went home via the Observatory instead.
