WEE 4. Stormont - I wasn't going to be able to run hard so I took the map memory option. 6 maps spaced equally along the Avenue, so to avoid massive amounts of extra distance or climb you needed to remember 5 or more controls with each look. Occasionally I got myself into the general vicinity and luckily was passed by someone with a map so just followed them in to the control! Lost time on 13 - had simplified too much and got confused by the path network. 14 I only had a vague idea of where it was and instead of committing to it I dithered and then took on extra climb and distance to reach it. 15 hadn't really looked at how to approach it and ended up at 17 first, but for that I was trying to remember 7 controls + the finish to get me home in a one-r
Achilles was pretty unhappy for this, even running slowly - hopefully Adam can fix me tonight.
