TMT. This was a bit rough. Every once in a while when I orienteer I go into a dark mood toward the end of the run, lose focus and negative thoughts creep in like " this is not fun why the f*ck am I doing this." Usually this happens when I'm either lost or floundering about in some gnarly thicket (or both). It's like a reverse-endorphin effect.
