Event: Orienteering at Westfield Stratford City

Non-comp run (I was mapper, co-planner and co-control hanger) at Westfield Stratford City. Despite knowing the map off by heart I was still beaten by Ed. Started low, gradually worked up the levels. Distance based on Acrobat measure tool so should be accurate.Centre was quiet and weather was good (cold and clear outside, very warm inside). Good fun concept, well done to Josh for putting together the event. Map took absolutely ages to prepare (39 hours) but worth it in the end for something different.

Came across a nasty looking cycle accident at Nag's Head junction. Cyclist on ground but conscious, pool of blood, five or six bikes scattered around. Was going quite fast myself at that point. Also got nearly taken out by bus pulling left into my lane without looking, on the very fast section down SSR.

Think I'll take my night commutes a bit more easy next week.
