Was going to go for a long run with mum but the weather was rubbish so we didn't really want to stay out long!
So we just went up to Coldharbour farm and back through the polo field. Didn't go too fast but it was nice to be out, even if I was slipping about all over the place!

Orienteering (Light Green Plus) 44:55 [3] 7.7 km (5:50 / km)

Ellenbrook wasn't very technical, it was mostly in the open so you could see where you were headed. I started before everyone else so it was pretty empty.
The long wet grass wasn't nice to run through, and there was some uneven ground. But it was nice yeah.

So on a Friday generally I like to do something different to my gyming on tues and thurs. So this morning I did some treadmill work. I warmed up a bit, then I put the treadmill on a hill and just kept going for 2km, then I took the hill away and sped up for 1.5km, followed by a warm down.

Circuits was cancelled which is rubbish cos I haven't been able to go in ages and then I could and it wasn't on.
So I wasn't really sure what to do instead, then all of a sudden it was quite late! So I did a pilates session from my DVD.

Did 15 secs on, 1 min 45 recovery, 30 secs on, 1 min 30 recovery, 45 secs on, 2 min 15 recovery. Did that 4 times.

Went with the running club. It was pretty quick, but then there was a lot of stopping to regroup or walking bits. Was pretty tiired by the end. It was nice though, I enjoyed it. We went to the resevoirs and around.

Did random intervals again of 20, 40 or 60 secs.
With breaks in the middle between 10 secs and 2 mins.

Running 1:16:00 [3] 13.7 km (5:33 / km)

Went up to Hockeridge, to Marlin Chapel, then down Pea Lane, up the hill out of Dudswell, along the edge of the common and back down past Bridgewater.
It wasn't as far as I thought it would be though.
And my legs could really feel the spinning session this morning as I went up the hill out of Dudswell!
It was horrible weather though, at least spitting all the way round with some times where it was full on raining, it was pretty muddy and slippy underfoot.
